Delete your Tangoya account

Sign in with the email and password of the account to delete it and its data from our servers. You can also do this inside the app: Settings, Account, Delete account.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in (the email and password).
• Your board row and handle, and everyone you follow or block.
• The copy of your progress in the cloud.
• Your custom cards balance and its history. Custom cards you bought are not refunded.
• The reports you sent, and the daily counters kept for your account.

What stays

• The record of each payment (which pack, how much, when). It holds no name or email, and is kept because payment records have to be kept. Stripe and the app stores keep their own records of a payment.
• A note that the account was deleted: its account id and the date. It holds no name or email, and is kept so that a late request or payment cannot bring deleted data back.
• Your progress on your own devices. Deleting the account does not reach into a phone or browser; clear the app's data there if you want it gone.
• Sentences and audio made for a card are shared by everyone who asks for the same word. They are not tied to you.

Deleting cannot be undone. If you play without an account (as a guest), there is nothing here to sign in to: your guest data is deleted when you use Delete account in the app, or it can simply be left.
